We are working with premier institutes - ICRISAT, RICH, PJTSAU - to develop crop specific field parameters for drone operations including but not limited to optimal flying range, chemicals’ application amount and period of application.

For Agri Automation, we are working with Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University(PJTSAU)
P rimary objectives
- To study and standardize drone operating procedures for plant protection.
- To evaluate the efficacy of pesticides against various insect pests and diseases and develop crop specific SOPs for pesticide use by drones
- Identifying special chemical formulations, adjuvants and optimizing their dosage.
- To study the impact on beneficial fauna including avian fauna.
- To test soil and water quality and grain samples for pesticide residues
What we aim is to develop protocols based on plant traits like Canopy, plant height, biomass - what is known as high throughput plant phenotyping - from the drone imagery. Our end objective is to establishe the standards as per the requirements expressed by the DGCA in association with FICCI.
